The Art Department at St Birinus has the benefit of being housed in a semi open plan purpose built facility. We have three main Art studios which are perfect for drawing and painting due to an abundance of natural light. We are also lucky enough to have a 3D Design based studio, complete with potters wheels and its own Kiln.
The Art department also has an Apple Mac suite with colour printing facilities and image editing software. In the past year we have added a purpose built Darkroom and a Professional Photography studio. These facilities now place the department at the forefront of Secondary Art Education.
